GO! Global Orientation on Culture + Ethics has ended
Join us Saturday, March 30 for the 2019 GO! Global Orientation on Culture + Ethics at the FedEx Global Education building!

This free, one-day event is designed to help students evaluate expectations, anticipate potential cultural and ethical challenges, prepare for engagement with global communities, and develop intercultural competencies.

Once you’ve registered, please create a profile (which you can choose to make public) and select the sessions you plan to attend, including full group sessions. NOTE: You may only select one breakout session per timeslot (one red, one green, one blue).

Iyman Ahmed manages federal funding opportunities at the Center for Global Initiatives including the Fulbright-Hays Faculty and Doctoral Dissertation Research Abroad Program. She also serves as the Fulbright U.S. Student Program adviser and co-leads the First-Year Experience Immersion Trip to Trinidad (in partnership with the Carolina Housing). Iyman is originally from Sudan and grew up in Egypt and Canada where she earned her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in political science from the University of Windsor. Most recently she worked at the Middle East Studies Center at Duke University.
