GO! Global Orientation on Culture + Ethics has ended
Join us Saturday, March 30 for the 2019 GO! Global Orientation on Culture + Ethics at the FedEx Global Education building!

This free, one-day event is designed to help students evaluate expectations, anticipate potential cultural and ethical challenges, prepare for engagement with global communities, and develop intercultural competencies.

Once you’ve registered, please create a profile (which you can choose to make public) and select the sessions you plan to attend, including full group sessions. NOTE: You may only select one breakout session per timeslot (one red, one green, one blue).

After graduating from Duke in 1999, Clare Counihan completed a Ph.D. in English Literature at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. Her research interests focus on experimental southern African fiction that explores the relationship between the nation and excluded subjects. As program coordinator, she supports faculty and staff’s work by helping them access resources for gender equity in the workplace.

Clare has been HAVEN, Safe Zone, Safe Zone: Gender Identity and Gender Expression, Mental Health First Aid, and GreenZone trained.
